Your cell phone will probably roam locally without issues – but if you wish to purchase a pre-paid SIM card they are available from Tel-Em at local stores and wifi is often freely available in restraunts and stores to support wifi-calling.

Dialing can be confusing: calling the French side from the Dutch side of the island – and vice versa - is long distance:  check your cell phone to determine which carrier you are on and the number you want to call:  sometimes it takes several tries and phone #s from websites arent always well formatted: here is what we have learned over the years:
